I really like the blue sky and the cheetah(?) in a hat about to whip the bear. I'm not sure what the dinosaur looking thing in the background is, but I like the placement.

Alex, I really like the way you balanced the hues and values in the foreground. Your light source looks consistent, which makes it more believable. (Even though the contect is fictional.) I appreciate the humor you've incorporated with the taming of the bear. The water was executed pretty well, but could have had smoother transitions for the value changes.

I really like the idea of your project, but the transition between the foreground and midground seems a little off :/ I still like it though :)

I found the color choice to be silghtly odd, but it works in an interesting way. Nice job with changing the darkness of the bear and cheetah on the sand!

The sky seemed to be a dark day which goes with the darkness of the water and the shore...including the characters (cat, bear and mechanical dinosaur).

The surreal quality to this design is ok but the sky and water do not look close enough in color that it throughs off the whole composition. The critters in the foreground and dinosaur in the background require a bit of color saturation and color variation to feel correctly placed as well.
Close....
